1. Address an imaginary ball with your normal stance.
2. Set the clubhead down off your right toe, inside the target line with the clubface open.
3. Drag the clubhead forward through the imaginary ball.
4. Square the clubface through imaginary impact.
5. Continue through to a full, balanced finish.
This drill will give you the sensation of a "no-hands" release and shallower angle of approach through impact. (Courtesy Gardner Dickenson).
